After Completing MS in the year 2000, this 38 year old doctor then completed a rigorous 2 year fellowship cum senior residency in Vitreo retina from Sankara Netharalaya, Chennai - arguably India's best Retina centre. For 3 years he was a Vitreo retinal consultant at Dr S Natarajan's Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital, Mumbai. He performed thousands of simple and complex Vitreo retinal surgeries to his credit, which includes simple and complex retinal detachments, diabetic vitreous hemorrhages, Tractional RD, retinopathy of prematurity, trauma. 23 G and 25G Vitrectomy (suture less Vitreoretinal Surgery). He has 22 national and international presentations to his credit and 14 publications in peer and non peer reviewed journals and chapters in textbooks. He is co-author of text book on investigations in macular diseases. He is also a reviewer for the Indian Journal of Ophthalmology.

After completing MS ophthalmology and topping the Mumbai University in 2000,she was selected for a long term fellowship in Cornea and anterior segment at the prestigious, World Class, L.V. Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. She continued as faculty there, in the department of Cornea and refractive surgery for a year. She was consultant and Head of Anterior segment department for 3 years at Dr S Natarajan's Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital. She has performed thousands of phacoemulsification (stitch less cataract surgeries), Lasik procedures (laser to remove spectacle number), and Keratoplasties (eye transplant). She is one of the few surgeons in the country with experience in Cultured Limbal stem cell transplant (Autologous and Living related) for ocular surface disorders. She has performed live surgeries in CME's and has a number of presentations at national and international conferences and publications in peer reviewed literature.

Dr. Sunil S. Jain completed his fellowship in Glaucoma from L.V.Prasad Eye Institute in September 2001. He has number of publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals. He was also invited as a Discussant by the South East Asia Glaucoma Interest Group (SEAGIG) for the Initiative For Management, Awareness & Glaucoma Education [IMAGE] Meeting held at Singapore. He has also performed live glaucoma demonstration-surgeries at state glaucoma meets. He is also a reviewer for the Indian Journal of Ophthalmology. The Bombay Ophthalmologists' Association awarded him the title of “International Master” for professional and academic excellence in 2003.
